Working in the IU Kokomo Art Department with the printmaking classes. I am using the new CNC machine the department has acquired to integrate with students art making processes.
I was one of several artists chosen to install a piece of art in downtown Kokomo. In the Artist Alley, chosen artist where given 8'x8' space to place their work. My piece, like my thesis work, I used tar paper and tar cement to invoke conversation about fracking happening in the United States.
Reception 5 to 9pm on the opening night.
